The technology of wireless communication is developing rapidly in recent years.The antenna,as the device to transmit and receive electromagnetic wave,is the necessary component of each wireless system.Due to the restrict of inherent structure and electrical performance,most of antennas only work at single frequency or in single polarization.However,these simple antennas can't supply the demand of the multi-function system.The requirement of minimum size and low cost boosts the development of the research of multi-function antenna.Besides,the antenna array technology is necessary to realize the high gain.In the antenna array design,the radiation pattern can be controlled by the feeding net,which means it will increase the efficient of component.In this thesis,two antennas are designed based on substrate integrated technology in millimeter wave.One is the wideband monopulse antenna and the other is dual-circular-polarized antenna.The main contents are as follows:1.Conclude the way to design waveguide slot antenna.The resonance slot antenna array based on SIW is designed with slot pair as radiation element after analyzing the resonance length and impedance performance by using equivalent circuit.A bandwidth enhancement antenna array is designed and fabricated.And the measured results prove the feasibility.2.Two structure complementary antenna arrays are designed based on the method mentioned above.By using orthogonal couplers and adaptive phase shifter,the feeding networks of 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional monopulse antenna are designed,respectively,which makes the antenna can work in 4 modes as sum beam,E-plane difference beam,H-plane difference beam and bidifference beam.3.A 45° linearly polarization slot antenna array based on substrate integrated coaxial line technology is proposed.The structure composed of metallized blind hole and ring-shaped slot on bottom layer is designed to tune the input impedance and reduce the reflection of the array.The antenna is fabricated and measured,which proves the feasibility of design.Then,a dual-circularpolarized antenna is proposed,which can transmit and receive left hand circular polarization(LHCP)and right hand circular polarization(RHCP)wave and provide good isolation between transmit and receive ports.
