When the term "small-town youth" was put forward in 2014,the academic circle and the industry conducted investigation and research on this group.Especially,the film and television industry gave both praise and criticism to this group,praising their huge consumption potential and criticizing them for lowering the quality of films.Around me and my friend is belong to this group,our viewing behavior do conform to the big data of the survey results,but in this data,the town youth friends around me have a rich and colorful life,screenings change attitudes about the movie I saw them,and see how they are immersed in the small screen on the phone,also saw their preferred short video now,so what is the driving force behind these changes,these changes bring them what kind of impact and life experience? With these questions in mind,I returned to my childhood friends or former classmates and,using ethnography,found the answers to the questions in my daily life with them and in cheerful interviews and chats.They struggle between drift and homecoming,life is full of confused and helpless,at the heart of the consumer life go to cinema movie ever not in the film,and the side of mobile phone in the little space can find the feeling of the resonance and the company,they say,could be realized in the short video,their social,emotional catharsis,talent and emotional outpourings are transferred to the online space.The combination and transformation of offline real life and online ideal space make their life more rich and mild,and also make their cultural life more full of fun.
