A Research On The User's Social Reading Effects Of "We Chat Reading" APP

The development of mobile reading and social network has changed the user's reading environment and extended the user's interaction based on reading from offline to online.This change promotes the rapid development of social reading and stimulates the diversified reading needs of users.In order to meet the needs of sharing and interaction in user reading,all online reading platforms add social genes to their own development.Under the general trend of continuous combination of reading and social interaction,in 2015,“WeChat Reading” APP based on WeChat users entered the digital reading market with the slogan of “WeChat Reading-let reading be no longer lonely”,the software takes social function as the main feature and uses WeChat's friend relationship to continuously spread.This paper takes the social reading effects of “WeChat Reading” APP as the research object,and analyzes the impact of the combination of reading and social interaction on users.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an overview of social reading,introduces the concept,development background and development process of social reading,and classifies social reading.The second part introduces the elements of social reading of “WeChat Reading” APP.The third part investigates the social reading effects of “WeChat Reading” APP.The fourth part analyzes the social reading effects of “WeChat Reading” APP from both positive and negative aspects.The fifth part puts forward the optimization strategy of social reading effects of “ WeChat Reading ” APP users,hoping to provide suggestions for the social development of reading platform.The combination of reading and social interaction brings more diversified reading experience to users,and also provides a new direction for the development of reading software.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,participatory observation,in-depth interview and questionnaire,and combines the relevant theories of communication,sociology and other disciplines to investigate the user's social reading effects of “WeChat Reading” APP under the WeChat's friend relationship.This paper hopes to enrich the academic research on user's social reading effects,and also hope to help the reading platform better understand the changes brought by the combination of reading and social networking for users,so as to improve the social function of the platform from the perspective of users,and promote the healthy operation of the mobile reading market.
