The monopulse radar is widely used in the radar system of the air missile,space high-precision tracking radar system and other guidance radar systems.The three-channel receiver is a key part of the monopulse radar system,so it has many important applications in a wide areas.The main function of the receive channel is to amplify and convert the weak signal which is received by the radar antenna.Meanwhile,the interference,clutter,and noise from the machine should be suppressed in the receive channel.In recent years,millimeter-wave technology has become more and more mature,and is applied in many engineering applications.It has become the mainstream of the application of high-performance and high-reliability weapon systems.In this dissertation,a satellite-borne Ka-band three-channel receiver is studied,and its measured performances are as expected.The noise figure is less than 3.2,gain of the channel is 31±2 dB,power resistance is greater than 5W(average power),isolation of the channel is greater than40 dB,switching isolation is greater than 35 dB,amplitude consistency in the total temperature range is less than 2dB,and phase difference stability in the full temperature range less than 20°.The developed module has also passed a series of on-board environmental tests and verifications,meeting the requirements of the requirements of the radar system.Firstly,the characteristics,the waveguide port matching design,key technical points of the three-channel receiver are introduced.Then,the module is broken down into four sub-modules,and each sub-module is designed,in detail,according to the technical requirements.Finally,the whole technical performances of the three-channel receiver module is reviewed and calculated.In this dissertation,the principles and realization of the sub-circuits including the coaxial transformation of waveguide,high-power switch,mirror suppression mixer,and broadband medium-frequency bridge are introduced in details.The power resistance design of key circuits such as high-power switches is tested and verified.The performances of the broadband medium frequency bridge are measured,and the measured results agree with the requirements.The MCM micro assembly technology is applied in this dissertation to complete the assembly of millimeter-wave circuit module,and the laser sealing technology is used to seal the module to achieve the high reliability design requirements.The application characteristics of the three-channel receiver in the monopulse radar system is described in this dissertation.The design principles and circuit models of the sub-modules are discussed in details.The performance of the single channel and the whole design concept of the module can be referred for the design of the similar modules in the future.Finally,the conclusion of the millimeter-wave three-channel receiver design is given,and the future work is discussed.
