Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Cable Digital Set-Top Box Network Multi-Scene System

Intelligent digital cable set-top boxes,evolved from the traditional digital cable set-top boxes,traditional digital cable set-top boxes,using a simple operating system,can only provide TV and video playback,and intelligent digital cable set-top box is to use the Android or ios operating system,support smart + connected with TV or other equipment,it add intelligent gateway,wireless coverage,and other business functions based on traditional digital cable set-top boxes.In this thesis,according to analyse the current status of the network application and user needs,studied Cable Modem module which is used to transmit and receive data in digital cable set-top boxes,and also analyse the main function of intelligent digital cable set-top boxes such as the family network,information processing,communications,business gathering,network distribution and so on,fully absorb the mature technology and the concept of popular at present,base on data transmit standard DOCSIS3.0,use the eCos as the embedded system,isolate internal and external network with NAT,cover home by Wi-Fi with the wireless secret technology,design intelligent gateway with access control,finally integrate all of above to network multi-scene system which can meet the requirement of intelligent digital cable set-top boxes.In this thesis,the main task is confirm the specification of hardware at the first,then base on this hardware to design 5 main functions include read file and transmit file via internal net,Wi-Fi coverage,VOD and terminal management server,the network multi-scene system with those functions is used on the newest digital cable set-top boxes in Shenzhen,the user feedback is good and hold the market of broadcast devices.
