Digital receiver is not only an essential equipment in the modern electronic warefare,but also a key factor determining the performance of radar.This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional receivers and designs a kind of monobit digital receiver,which can get better performance.Chapter 1 introduces the development of digital receiver and the research of the current state of monobit instantaneous frequency-measurement receiver,based on which the implication of the research from this article is expounded.Chapter 2,firstly,analyzes the representative theory of monobit receiver and evaluates the feasibility of monobit frequency-measurement algorithm.Secondly,this chapter emphasizes on the study and simulation of the two different kinds of monobit algorithms,and some deficiencies of design and precision are discovered.Lastly,the use of dither techniques is proposed to improve the spurious free dynamic range of receiver effectively,so that the receiver can obtain optimized performance in detecting multi-signals.Chapter 3 researches on Split-radix Fast Fourier Transform(SRFFT combining radix-2 FFT with radix-4 FFT)algorithm which is superior over the other FFT algorithms.In addition,propose a new method of quantifying the twiddle factors of SRFFT according to the feature of the algorithm,which can reduce calculated amount and obtain better dynamic range.Moreover,considering that FFT is inevitable to cause the spectrum leakage and fence effect,a high resolution frequency estimation,which can correct the inaccuracies of measured frequencies effectively,is proposed to ensure more accurate results.Chapter 4 presents the architecture design and the parts(device)selection and completes the hardware manufacture according to the algorithms in chapter 3.Construct the hardware test platform to test the function of the designed receiver.The results from the tests indicate that the proposed system from this article can estimate the frequencies of received signals quickly and accurately.
