IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)is an interactive network TV that a set of internet,multimedia,communication and other technologies in one and can use broadband network to provide home users with multiple interactive video technologies,including digital TV.The three functions of live broadcast,review and time shift which turn the linear transmission TV program into non-linear program stream.Users can select programs instead of watching programs.It is a huge subversion for the viewing habit of traditional cable TV users.With the development of “triple play”,the traditional TV industry is experiencing the impact of the Internet,and the audience and market share are constantly eroding.Driven by policy norms,technological advances and telecom operators “speed-up and fee reduction”,with the strong demand for high-definition audio-visual content,IPTV business has accelerated development and enhanced management.As a new industry in recent years,IPTV is in line with the dynamic,scale and demand attributes of industrial development.Although the scale of IPTV business development continues to expand,in terms of business development strategy,domestic related research is slightly insufficient.This article will explore and analyze GX company's IPTV business development from the perspective of development strategy,hoping that will help to enrich and develop the gap in related research.The research content of this paper is as follows: The first Chapter,Introduction.It introduces the research background,the purpose and significance of the topic,and sorts out the domestic and foreign literature.The second chapter,the basic concepts and theories.It mainly reviews the concepts of IPTV,OTT and cable digital TV,as well as research tools for enterprise development strategy theory and strategic analysis.The third chapter,the internal and external environment and market analysis of GX company's IPTV business development.Using PEST analysis the external environment of GX company's IPTV business development from four aspects: policy,economy,society and technology.And use the Porter Five Force Model to analyze GX company's competitiveness.The fourth chapter,GX company's IPTV business status and problem analysis.It will introduce the company profile of GX Company,the development status of IPTV business,and analyzes the problems of business development.The fifth chapter,the development strategy of GX company's IPTV business.Mainly based on the research and analysis of the previous chapters,the strategic choices were made,the specific strategy implementation was formulated and the safeguard measures were given.The paper concludes with three conclusions.First,the main content of this paper is based on GX company's IPTV development in Shenzhen,and describe the current status of GX company.Second,as a leading company in the IPTV industry,GX company must formulate a development strategy in order to maintain its advantages and achieve bigger development.Third,according to the internal and external environment faced by GX company,this paper puts forward the strategy of specialization,differentiation and diversification.Finally,according to the development strategy,it gives the analysis of the strategic implementation and the safeguard measures.
