Content Delivery Network,which plays an essential role in the fast distribution of streaming media content,has promoted the development of Internet applications.However,with the sharp increase of network data traffic,the limitations of traditional content distribution network such as higher server storage capacity costs and more server popularization difficulties,are gradually emerging.And these limitations will bring unprecedented pressure and challenge to the new Internet system.Crowd-funding is an economics model which collects funds from the public individuals.It integrates the dispersive financial resources to solve the shortage of funds in enterprises.So far,there exists many scattered and free resources waiting to be gathered together.This paper focus on the Crowd-funding mechanism-based In-network Storage System,and the main work and innovation points are listed as follows:(1)CFS(Crowd-Funding Storage)model is proposed.The CFS service provider can serve as the Crowd-Funding initiator by setting up the funding from the network proxy server at the edge of Internet with idle storage resources.And proxy servers can serve as management platforms to integrate those Crowd-Funding storage resources into a virtual buffer zone,even to provide paid cache service for users like video service providers or large-scale websites.The economic CFS model is also established.And the optimal Crowd-Funding scheme is derived to ensure the profits of sponsors and supporters both.(2)A CFS implementation model B3-CFS(BufferBank based on Crowdfunding)is designed based on the Buffer Bank storage technology.B3-CFS sponsors distributes free wireless router with extra storage capacity to their supporters,and during the supporters' ordinary use of the wireless routers,The model could achieve a unified management of storage space in the routers based on the Buffer bank mechanism,in order to form virtual storage capacity.(3)The practical deployment of B3-CFS model is also studied.The optimal Crowd-Funding plan is calculated through the subjective intention of supporters participating in the funding by market research methods.The feasibility to deploy B3-CFS model is also proved by analyzing the access performance of virtual storage provided by BB-CFS.And the influence of network delay on B3-CFS transmission performance and storage strategy are proved as well.In conclusion,the theory and practical deployment of the In-network Storage System are fairly feasible.This Paper offers a new method to ensure the best benefits of the initiator and improve the quality of network service.
