Recent years, along with our country economy high speed development of the society and the transformation of government functions, our country pay more and more attention on the new rural construction of spiritual civilization. Rural library project promote the new rural construction of spiritual civilization, improve the rural public cultural service system, change the small peasant consciousness, promote the new rural culture, education, economy, comprehensive development of peasant quality, narrow the gap between the urban and rural culture, and is an important part of the harmonious development of rural social economy and culture.Based on investigation and on-the-spot investigation visit of the rural libraries of National Xinxiang economic and Technological Development Zone(hereinafter referred to as the open area), author want to know the basic information of the open area rural libraries, farmers’ demand for books, materials and services, the farmers’ advice of rural library and rural library management status. On the basis of investigation and analysis, according to the crowd funding theory, combining with the current success examples of the rural libraries of our country, author want to explore the feasibility of the application of crowd funding in rural library. Crowd funding could provide funds to rural library, ensure the sustainable development of rural library, provides a platform and powerful means to promote the healthy and orderly development of rural library, and is an effective way to alleviate the shortage of funds for developing rural library. Crowd funding model also promote the development of public service and the cooperation of the government and social capital.
