An Analysis Of The Special Report Of Summer Olympic Games In Shanghai Wenhui (1984-2016)

As a global sports feast,the summer Olympic Games have naturally become the target of media coverage.The media is constantly changing the way of reporting in the Olympic Games,so as to meet the growing demand of readers.Among them,"Wen Wei Po",as a famous cultural newspaper in China,is one of the first media to send a team of journalists to report on the spot after China's restoration of its legal Olympic seats.Wen Wei Po has been fully involved in the Olympic Games since 1984.During the reporting process of the ninth Summer Olympic Games,it has gradually formed its own characteristic Olympic reports.This paper mainly uses content analysis,literature,logical induction,expert interview and other research methods to analyze the nine aspects of Wenhui from Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984 to Rio Olympic Games in 2016 from the seven perspectives of report subject,report theme,report genre,report content,report layout,report picture and report language style,with the basic theory of communication as the analysis framework The special report of the 9th Olympic Games is analyzed in detail to explore the continuity and change of Wenhui in the report of the 9th Olympic Games.Through the analysis and from the perspective of continuity and transformation,the author concludes that Wenhui Olympic special report has the following characteristics.The characteristics of its continuity are:(1)the implementation of humanity in reporting;(2)the focus of reporting on human nature.Its transformational characteristics are as follows:(1)the content of the report is diluted and the golden tendency highlights rationality;(2)the language style of the report is light;(3)the report uses media technology to open up a new platform to strengthen interaction.From the perspective of three elements of news,the author analyzes the shortcomings of Wenhui Olympic special report,which are:(1)lack of competitive coverage;(2)lack of depth of media integration;(3)lack of audience interaction.The following suggestions are put forward:(1)improve the competitiveness of the report;(2)strengthen the depth of media integration;(3)strengthen the audience interaction.
