Telling archival stories is a new proposition for the development of archives cultural resources proposed by the archives department based on the background of Chinese cultural self-confidence.Telling archival stories promotes to meet archival culture needs of the public,enhance the sense of archival culture identity,and promotes to innovate the development of archival cultural resources.Through the research,this paper sorts out the research status and practice progress of archival stories,and proposes that telling archival stories requires innovative concepts of developing and communicating.Based on this,the paper condenses the two-way path of telling archival stories—“public development” and “micro-communication”.The aim is to integrate the concept of synergy and take advantage of the micro-communication platform to guide the public to participate in the development of archival stories and to share archival cultural resources.Facing the subjective and objective realistic dilemma of the development of archival stories,the paper proposes the solution from the three aspects of co-creating archival stories,crowdfunding resources and co-creating patterns.Through the analysis of the current problems and typical cases of the development of archival stories related to the micro-communication platform at home and abroad,summarize the relevant enlightenment experience.From top-level design,process control,back-end support,the paper proposes the optimization strategy of the public development and micro-communication of archival stories from top to bottom.Public development and micro-communication are important ways to telling archival stories.The combined efforts of the two ways will produce more and more the cultural benefits and national spirit of the archival story.
