In large-scale battery-powered wireless sensor networks, clustering is usually used for data transmission in order to save energy and prolong the network life.In clustering networks, most research focuses on saving energy and reducing consumption to improve the energy efficiency of the system. For example, the most typical LEACH algorithm, whose basic thinking is cluster heads are randomly selected by means of round and distribute the energy load of the entire network to each surviving sensor node,in order to reduce the network energy consumption and extend the network life. However,In some practical applications, such as public safety monitoring and flood forecasting, the reliability of data transmission is more important. The unreliability of data may cause major safety and production accidents.Due to the simple configuration of wireless sensor nodes,it is difficult to implement complex schemes to improve reliability. Therefore,it is necessary to design a simple and feasible cooperative transmission scheme with low complexity by using the mutual cooperation among nodes. This paper proposes a two-stage cooperative transmission based on feedback information of the target node in large-scale wireless sensor network to improve the reliability of data transmission.Meanwhile, take the impact on the system performance for the number of cluster heads into account and the optimization problem for the number of cluster heads in two-stage cooperative transmission is considered. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.In order to improve the transmission performance of some large-scale wireless sensor networks, such as public security monitoring and flood forecasting, which require high reliability of data transmission,a two-stage cooperative transmission scheme based on feedback is proposed in cluster networks.According to the feedback information of target node,two-stage selection cooperation based on feedback, from sensor node to cluster head and from cluster head to sink node.to ensure that the data from the nodes in each cluster can be transmitted to the target node reliably and achieve the reliable transmission. At the same time,in order to take into account the network energy consumption and transmission reliability,Furthermore,in cluster head selection,we take channel value and residual energy into consideration so that the nodes with more remaining energy and better channel quality have greater probability to be selectedcluster head.Simulation results show that proposed feedback-based two-stage cooperative protocol can reduce the outage probability and lead network to a longer lifetime.2.As the transmission continues network is shrinking. To reflect the dynamic change of network scale, put network area range into consideration in the energy model as a variable.According to the action characteristics of kinds nodes in two-stage cooperative transmission,We established a dynamic energy consumption model.By solving the analytical equation of the energy model, the optimal number of cluster heads can be obtained for each round,so as to realize the transmission with the lowest energy consumption. The simulation show that proposed method can reduce energy consumption of the system and avoid consuming too much energy due to improper selection of the number of cluster heads.Based on the improvement of transmission reliability in large-scale clustering wireless sensor networks,In this paper, feedback based two-stage selection cooperative transmission, cluster head selection and optimization of optimal number of cluster heads in cluster networks are studied.the research results provide an effective reference for the reliability of data transmission in clustering networks.
