On the basis of combing and summarizing the latest news of domestic and foreign related automation equipment,this paper analyses the structure,the composition and control of the bending robot workstation with the primary principle,and provides some reference basis for the practical application of robot in the field of sheet metal processing.The research work of this paper includes:The beat time of the bending robot system is calculated,and the overall design with layout of the system is determined.The motion analysis of bending robot model is done.Design for the whole process of the system.Participate in the design of robot grip,sheet tensioning & thickness detection mechanism and other plate workpiece positioning tooling.This workstation system can be suitable for all kinds of product bending.Participate in the design of control program.Record and analyze the test data.Participate in the whole system installation and upgrade work.After the optimization of the above structure,the bending robot can operate independently according to the set program,and it realized the initial assumption of automatic bending thick plate workpiece.It proves that the robot automatic bending effect is better than manual bending in both efficiency and accuracy by doing the contrast test on the completed bending system.The data shows the benefit value of this research project.The research of this subject solves the contradictory relationship between quality control,safety and production efficiency with economic value in the manufacturing process,and it also provides a theoretical basis for manufacturing enterprises to realize the overall automation of factories.The results of the study can be reflected in the improvement of production efficiency.The production efficiency can be improved by 38.27%,the overall bending error of workpiece is reduced by about 50%,and the annual cost of outsourcing processing is saved by hundreds of thousands of RMB,which produces considerable economic value.
