With the advent of the era of intelligent interconnection of all things,the fifth generation of mobile communication has attracted the common attention of the industry,academia and research communities.The mainstream operators in the world are actively deploying 5G network.In order to ensure interoperability of network equipment and terminal equipment,it is important to design a suitable 5G system terminal simulation device to complete the test of network wireless resource management capability.This thesis relies on major theme project of Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission " Development and application of 5G terminal simulation equipment",and implements a set of 5G terminal simulation protocol stack software system in the context of 5G related technologies,which satisfies Release 15 protocol and project requirements.The simulation device can complete the test of network capabilities.In order to test the related functions of the terminal and the network in the registered state,the related functions of the 5G system mobility management(5GMM)sublayer must be implemented.Therefore,the related functional processes of the 5GMM sublayer are studied,implemented and verified.The main work and innovations are as follows:1.According to the technical characteristics of 5G,the PC+DSP platform is selected as the development platform of the project to complete the design scheme of 5GMM sublayer.Based on the detailed study of the protocol,the functional flow design of 5GMM sublayer is completed.Since the 5GMM sublayer needs to start the corresponding timer for protection after sending messages to the network,a set of timer design scheme is proposed.2.Based on the theory of finite state machine,a state machine that meets the need of the project is realized,which laid the foundation for the realization of the main functions of the 5GMM sublayer.Using Windows API system functions,the timer auxiliary module is implemented.The timer module is universal and can be used in each sublayer of the protocol stack.Based on the realization of finite state machine and timer auxiliary module and the functional process design of 5GMM sublayer,the main functions of 5GMM sublayer are realized.Additionally,the internal processing flow of the function is introduced in detail.3.Based on the design and implementation of the 5GMM sublayer process and referring to the test protocol,test points of each functional process are extracted.According to test points,test cases are designed.Grey box test method is applied to test and verify the functional code.Additionally,by executing eighty test cases,the 100% test pass rate indicates that the rationality and feasibility of the design scheme and the implemented 5GMM sublayer satisfies the protocol conformance requirements.
