Analysis Of The Will To Choose Sexbots And Its Social Consequences

Artificial intelligence technology has been on the rise since the mid-twentieth century,and is currently entering a stage of rapid development,with new intelligent products emerging endlessly.Sexbots,one of the subtypes of social robots,refers to artificial intelligence robot products that can provide emotional and sexual services for men or women,meet the needs of human intimacy,have a highly anthropomorphic appearance,and can be customized.Sexbots have been produced and put into use.As a human-robot interactive robot,its design,production,and widespread application will have a wide range of impacts on society.In this study,questionnaire surveys,in-depth interviews,and participation in online platforms were conducted to investigate the willingness of men and women to choose Sexbots.A total of 122 valid data were collected and 9 people were interviewed.Aiming at the willingness and reason of selective sexbots as partners and the choice willingness for basic settings and subject status,on the one hand,according to Han Bingzhe's "death of erotic desire" and the "emotional alienation" thought in emotional sociology,analyze the common content of the willingness of both sexes.And on the other hand use gender theory to analyze the differences from the perspective of feminism.On the basis of comparative analysis of the survey results,analyze and discuss social consequences.First,the survey results are as follows :(1)More than a quarter of the respondents prefer sexbots rather than humans as partners.(2)The respondents generally have a higher demand for sexbots to perform household chores and provide emotional service functions.(3)Survey respondents have a higher choice willingness for the subject status of sexbots.Young women have a slightly lower choice willingness for their subject status than men,and have a lower willingness to assume moral responsibility.(4)The basic choice willingness set by the sexes for sexbots are detailed and different.Male respondents have a significantly higher demand for sexual services from sexbots than female,and female respondents have a greater choice willingness for their safety protection functions.However,young women with partners have a higher choice willingness for sex-related content.Second,based on investigation and analysis,this research takes the perspective of the prediction of the era of strong artificial intelligence to predictively analyzes the social structure and ethical social consequences that sexbots will bring.In terms of institutional structure,first,gender relations and the embedded power structure will change,and the process of gender equality may accelerate;second,In the future,sexbots will have the subject status,which will lead to theaddition of family subjects and legal subjects.New family types such as "human-machine families" will be generated,and the proportion of the original family types will also change;third,the social demographic structure,including the age structure of the population and the composition of the "population" will change;fourth,sexbots provide customized functions in sexual services and safety protection modes,which may reduce social safety issues overall.In terms of ethics,this research put forward the concept of "strong artificial intelligence paradox",to give tips on human-machine rights and obligations after sexual interest robots become moral and legal subjects.It also discusses the impact of sexbots on current sexual ethics,and advocates paying attention to the diversity of human-machine ethics.
