Research On Commercial Contract Documents In Pre-Qin Period

Commercial contract documents are important evidence-based reference materials for maintaining commercial order in ancient China.The earliest contract documents unearthed in history originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty and were widely used in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.Commercial contract documents are a type of ancient Chinese commercial documents classified according to their use attributes.They occupied an important position throughout the pre-Qin period,and provided voucher reference value materials for the development of commercial history.This paper analyzes the pre-Qin commercial contract documents from the perspectives of historical background,definition connotation,origin,type,and development through econometric methods.This article mainly uses the database of Chinese ancient books updated as of December 2018 and the China Knowledge Network "Guoxuebaodian" database updated as of December 2018 as the main data sources.Through the complementation and unification of the two,the terms of different commercial contract documents in the pre-Qin period were carried out.Retrieval research.The time point for searching documents is mainly from 1600 BC to 220 BC.The source of specific materials mainly includes the compilation of cultural relics during the unearthed period,the books of which the author was born during this period,etc.Duan's writings belong to later generations' inferences about history,which is not included in the scope of this article.The full text of this article is divided into three parts.In terms of research methods,first of all,from the perspective of linguistics,the definition of the commercial contract documents in the pre-Qin period and the origin of the nouns are combed,and their origin is analyzed in the context of historical development and commercial development in the pre-Qin period.,The evolution of meaning,the emergence of definitions and specific applications.Secondly,the statistical data was retrieved by the method of bibliographic statistics.Based on the Chinese ancient books database updated in December 2018 and the China Knowledge Network "Guo Xue Baodian" database updated in December 2018,different terms of different commercial contract documents from the pre-Qin period were used.From the perspective,the specific use cases and application scopes of different commercial contract instruments are listed and analyzed,and the specific processes of the development and evolution of different commercial contract documents in terms of carrier and content are compared and analyzed.The main context of the second part is based on time,and the specific dynasties of the pre-Qin period are divided according to Xia,Shang,Western Zhou,Spring and Autumn,and Warring States,and the commercial contract documents in the "Western Zhou" are studied as a topic.In the end,a macro analysis of the development of the pre-Qin contract documents is made in a summary way,and the production and application of the pre-Qin period commercial contract documents are summarized;and then the specific research of the pre-Qin period commercial contract documents is summarized according to the first and second parts of the pre-Qin period commercial contract documents.The law of the origin,generation,development and evolution of the document,analyzes and summarizes the historical status of commercial contract documents in the pre-Qin period,and specifically analyzes the important influence of pre-Qin contract documents in the entire archives history and commercial development history.
