Microwave transmission line is an important component in the field of electromagnetic field technology,which is the basis of designing various microwave circuits and devices.With the development of microwave technology and integrated circuit technology,the integrated microwave transmission line has become a research hotspot.The substrate integrated waveguide(SIW)and substrate integrated coaxial line(SICL)are widely used because of their low loss and low profile.A variety of new antennas can be designed by using integrated transmission lines as feeding structures.Based on the study of substrate integrated transmission line,this paper carries out the research work of dual-polarized substrate integrated coaxial line and dual-polarized substrate integrated waveguide antenna,which provides theoretical and technical support for practical engineering practice.Firstly,the basic principle,characteristics and application of substrate integrated coaxial line are introduced,and the radiation priciple of slot antenna based on dielectric integrated coaxial line is discussed in detail.Based on substrate integrated coaxial line resonator,circular ring slot antenna and rectangular slot antenna are designed respectively,and two kinds of slot antenna structures are simulated and optimized by full-wave electromagnetic simulation software.The radiation performances of the substrate integrated coaxial slot antenna are realized,and the radiation effectiveness of the substrate integrated coaxial slot antenna are verified.Secondly,based on the radiation mechanism of dual-polarized antenna,an asymmetrically dual-polarized antenna combing the rectangular slot in substrate integrated coaxial line and printed monopole was designed.The rectangular slot can be equivalent to a magnetic antenna,and the printed monopole can be equivalent to an electric antenna.The antenna scheme can be understood as a dual polarized antenna scheme of electromagnetic combination.Full-wave electromagnetic simulation software was used to design the antenna structure.The isolation degree of polarization port,radiation pattern and cross-polarization level of the antenna meet the requirements.Finally,an asymmetrically dual-polarized end-fired antenna was studied bycombining substrate integrated waveguide and printed monopole.In the design of the dual-polarized antenna,the substrate integrated waveguide antenna employed the H-plane horn antenna,and the printed monopole introduced the reflector structure to realize the unidirectional radiation pattern.The whole dual-polarized antenna was also designed by using printed circuit technology with low cost.Similarly,full-wave electromagnetic simulation software was used to optimize the antenna structure.The simulation results of the circuit characteristics and radiation characteristics of the antenna also meet the requirements of the indicators,which verify the correctness of the design scheme.In summary,this paper studied the asymmetrically dual-polarized antenna implementation scheme based on the substrate integrated transmission line.The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the integrated waveguide and the integrated coaxial line of the substrate can achieve an effectively dual-polarized antenna radiation mode.The proposed dual-polarized antenna has the advantages of simple structure and easy design,and is suitable for engineering application.It has more important application value and practical significance.
