The traditional monitoring system requires specialized personnel to continuo-usly monitor the system status,which is inconvenient to use,time-consuming and labor-intensive.Although it adds functions such as electronic fence and pedestrian dete-ction to the basic functions such as monitoring video surveillance,it is still difficult to meet the growing applications.In recent years,the technology in the field of image processing has become more and more mature,and can support the appli-cation of the corresponding industrial fields.In this article,we combine traditional systems of this kind with the latest image processing algorithms and design and implement a more intelligent system that can be used.The system including data acquisition,monitoring video viewing,motion dete-ction,target tracking,abnormal warning,and system settings.The motion detection module is implemented by adopting a variant of the mixed gaussian model,which improves the time efficiency.The target tracking module of the system is aimed at the problem that the Camshift algorithm may generate too many iterations or track-ing failure in the process of tracking the target.A method combining the prediction model and the camshift algorithm is proposed,so that the number of iterations in the search of the target position in the next frame is made.It is greatly reduced,which improve the problem of high speed of the tracking object is easy to lose.The abnor-mality warning module can alarm the abnormal operation that occurs during the set time period.The system setup module can support the relevant parameters of the user-defined system execution.The innovation and difficulty of this paper is that by introducing the detection and tracking algorithm in the image field into the implementation of the monitoring system,a solution to the problems and defects of the traditional monitoring method is proposed.For the mismatch between the current method and our system requirements,some improvements are made to the applied algorithm to make it better applied to the system.
