| In recent years,with the ability of computers to process data continuously increases,the processing time of many massive data is greatly reduced,but when dealing with many classic data analysis systems,the latency is still given to the analyst due to the amount of data that needs to be processed and the complexity of the algorithms involved.Based on incremental visualization,there are many progressive analytics systems an emerging.It aims to alleviate the waiting times imposed by leveraging the partial intermediate results provided by the execution of progressive analysis algorithms.Immersive analytics is also a rising research field which aims to explore "the applicability and development of emerging user-interface technologies for creating more engaging and immersive experiences and seamless workflows for data analysis application",namely studying the use of augmented reality(AR)and virtual reality(VR)devices to visualize and analyze data in an immersive setting.The goal is to eliminate barriers between people,data and the tools used for analysis to increase the efficiency of analysts.The purpose of this article is to move from the current progressive visual analysis system to the progressive immersive visual analysis combined with virtual reality technology.Based on Unity3 D and virtual reality device HTC Vive,the design implements data analysis and interaction of a progressive visual analysis system in the VR environment.The main work of this paper includes the following three parts:(1)Research on progressive visual analysis,put forward the design principles of our progressive visual analysis system and running algorithm,and finally choose a branch GSP algorithm in the progressive mining algorithm;(2)First introduce the PPMT system we compared,and then conduct an experimental analysis of the PPMT system,and then design a progressive immersive visual analysis system based on PPMT.At the same time,the system must meet the principles we proposed.Realize interactive functions in the environment,including the movement of characters,the selection and viewing of data objects,and the interaction of menus;(3)Test and analysis of the system,we draw conclusions through main observation evaluation and specific task analysis,a new type of progressive immersive visual analysis compared with the traditional progressive visual analysis system,the immersive interactive environment gives data analysts a better data analysis environment and a better interactive immersive experience,which is beneficial to data analysts for rapid data analysis and mining. |
