Research On The Digital Reading From The Perspective Of Symbol Interaction Theory

With the development of the Internet,digital reading has become more and more one of the mainstream reading methods.It has changed people's reading habits of holding books and thinking alone.On the other hand,it has increased more "situational meaning" and "possibility of interaction" in reading,and gradually developed a new reading mode composed of multi-element content symbols and interpersonal interaction.In technology,the emergence of digital media promotes the digital development of reading.Reading,from the initial oral recitation to paper reading,and then to today's digital reading,is no longer limited to flat paper.At the same time,the development of mobile network has brought explosive growth of information,and the high openness of information resources has brought more and more content symbols.The addition of voice,action and scene elements has liberated the traditional text symbols,enriched the reading content resources and improved the reading experience.In addition,media dependence makes people no longer satisfied with the single content reading,reading also derived the needs of interpersonal communication,the social characteristics of reading gradually revealed,a series of interactive behaviors such as praise,comment,forwarding,etc.have reformed the definition of reading.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview are used to analyze the symbolic construction and interaction,interaction situation,existing problems and the two-way interactive value chain construction path of digital reading by using communication,semiotics and social psychology.The survey found that the purpose of digital reading interaction is to acquire emotion and resources,the interaction preference is relationship strength and self-interest,and theinteraction emotion tends to be influenced by culture and identity.At present,digital reading interactive behavior has become an important embodiment of interpersonal interaction in the era of mobile Internet.Digital reading interactive behavior not only opens up the interaction under the reading situation,but also brings a lot of confusion for reading,which is mainly manifested in the extensive growth of low-quality reading content,the interaction behavior is only in the form,and the content platform ignores the platform user experience.In order to promote the healthy and orderly development of digital reading,this paper discusses the possibility of future development from three dimensions of the author,platform and reader.For the author,the concept of "content is king" should be adhered to,and the interaction of multimedia form should be emphasized;for the digital reading platform,the concept of "user is king" should be adhered to in the process of development,and a diversified feedback mechanism should be built to promote both sides of digital reading transmission and reception For readers,it is necessary to strengthen digital reading literacy,cultivate the awareness of paying for reading,and gradually guide the sound development of digital reading by improving the reading cost.
