Research On The Influence Of Wechat Usage Of "Elderly Immigrants" In China On Their Interpersonal Communication

Under the background of aging,urbanization and digitalization,this paper focuses on the typical floating population of "Elderly immigrants",explores the relationship between the use of wechat of "Elderly immigrants" and its interpersonal communication,and conducts an empirical study on the "Elderly immigrants" group over 55 years old.This paper consists of six chapters,the introduction part mainly discusses the background,purpose and significance of this study,and defines the related concepts of "Elderly immigrants" and "interpersonal communication".The first chapter combs the relevant literature and puts forward the theoretical basis of this paper.This paper reviews the related researches on the elderly floating population and the media use of the elderly.The related research on the media use of the elderly is mainly divided into three aspects: media use behavior,media use barriers and media literacy.Based on the theories of symbolic interaction,interactive ritual and media situation,this paper explores the influence of the use of wechat on interpersonal communication.The second chapter puts forward the rese arch design of this paper.Put forward research questions and hypotheses,choose literature analysis,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview and virtual ethnography as research methods,select research samples and sampling methods,design questionnaire and interview outline,and test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.The third chapter analyzes the correlation and regression between the use of wechat and the interpersonal communication of dependent variables.The results show that wechat use intensity,wechat social participation and wechat use effect are all positively correlated with the degree of interpersonal communication of "Elderly immigrants nationality".The three dimensions of wechat use of "Elderly immigrants nationality" can predict the psychological integration,behavioral integration and social relationship integration of their interpersonal communication.The fourth chapter explains the change of interpersonal communication mode brought by wechat through interview and virtual ethnography.First,the use of "Elderly immigrants" wechat breaks through the time and space constraints of interpersonal communication: the use of wechat breaks through the space concept of traditional interpersonal communication and dispels the timeliness of information transmission;second,the use of "Elderly immigrants" wechat promotes the innovation and development of social ways;symbolic self-expression and innovation of "Elderly immigrants" interpersonal communication make the interaction ceremony more intense;third,The use of "Elderly immigrants" wechat promotes the establishment and expansion of new interpersonal relationships.The fifth chapter further discusses that the traction of kinship and the difference of intergenerational culture,the division of region and the change of communication situation,the transformation of family role and the reconstruction of social role may be the factors that affect the interpersonal communication of "Elderly immigrants",and the formation path of "Elderly immigrants" wechat use obstacle is also obtained from three aspects: access obstacle,use obstacle and media literacy obstacle,which is the path of the formation of "Elderly immigrants" wechat use obstacle The research on the direction of media use of "Elderly immigrants" provides reference.The sixth chapter summarizes the results of this study,reflecting and improving the lack of research.
