Research On Public Participation In Archives In Social Media Era

Based on the user relationship and platform content,social media promotes the continuous emergence of personal influence.The public has been given more and more discourse power and become an active subject to participate in the field of archives.The process of archives socialization continues to accelerate,which is mainly reflected in three aspects:archives resources,archives work and archives service.First,the public actively records,creates and disseminates a large amount of information through social media,which enriches the file resource system;Secondly,the public actively participates in the construction of archive resources by using platforms such as social media and promotes the in-depth development of the file value;Thirdly,the public actively feeds back information by using social media,improving the service quality of the file department.Based on the relevant research in academic circles,this paper expounds the related concepts of social media and public participation.It discusses the main modes,characteristics and significance of public participation in the era of social media from the three perspectives of file socialization,and then analyzes the existing problems of public participation with the specific examples and data of public participation in filing,management and interaction.Finally,it puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions from four levels of system,resources,subject and technology.In the era of social media,public participation in the field of archives is a general trend.Archives departments and the public should face various opportunities and challenges with a more positive attitude.
