Software defect is the phenomenon that during the normal operation of software,due to the influence of abnormal input or external conditions,incorrect and unexpected output occurs,which affects the whole system.Serious software defects may lead to system paralysis and the loss of personnel and property.Software defects exist in many kinds of software,and it is difficult to find.People invest a lot of manpower and material resources in finding software defects,but still can't achieve good results.In order to solve the above problems,this paper studies the software defect prevention technology,sorting out a set of defect prevention methods,so as to find the defects in the software efficiently and quickly.The defect prevention method collects previous software defects,uses software defect management tools to build software defect storage model,and stores software defects in data.In the software defect storage model,according to the characteristics of software defects,classification and standardized description are carried out.Finally,the relevant documents of software defect prevention and inspection are formed.In order to provide reusable software defect data for software developers,it is convenient for software developers to check the software at any time in the software life cycle,so as to discover the defects in the software as soon as possible.At last,this paper uses the generated software defect checklist to test the embedded software,compares the number and efficiency of software defects found by software defect prevention checking and software testing,analyses the respective advantages of software defect prevention methods and software testing,and verifies the effectiveness of software defect prevention methods.
