In recent years, with the rapid development of internet and communication technology, social media has been integrated into people's life and work at a faster and faster speed all over the world.Introducing social media at work can create a new way of communication between colleagues and customers.Although social media has been at the top of many companies' agendas so far, there seems to be a very limited understanding of how social media is used for work.Previous empirical studies have confirmed the impact of distraction and disruption on work.Few people pay attention to the potential decentralized nature of social media and the possible negative impact of its use.Organizations face challenges in identifying and overcoming possible consequences. The technical pressure caused by social media is considered to be an important factor. Therefore, based on the human environment matching theory, this study discusses the relationship between social media use and employee's work performance,as well as the intermediary role of technical pressure in the process of social media use affecting employee's work performance, and the regulatory role of psychological flexibility in this relationship. In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted in Henan,Shanghai,Guangdong and other places.Finally,298 subjects were selected as the subjects of this study. The results are as follows:(1)All dimensions of social media use have a negative impact on employees' work performance, that is,employees' unreasonable and excessive use of social media in the workplace may lead to a decline in work performance.Technical stress plays an intermediary role in the relationship between social media use and employee performance.Specifically, technical stress plays a completely mediating role in the relationship between social media use and employee performance.(2)Psychological flexibility regulates the impact of social media use on employees' work performance through technical pressure.Specifically,high-level psychological flexibility plays a buffer role in the mechanism of the impact of social media use on employees' work performance mediated by technical pressure.
