Investigation And Analysis Of Artificial Intelligence Readiness In The University Librarys Of Henan

Artificial intelligence(AI)is the ability of a machine to replicate intelligent human behavior and human decision-making capabilities.In recent years,artificial intelligence is developing rapidly,and China has gradually increased the development and application of artificial intelligence to a strategic level.In response to China's strategy of strengthening the country with talents and a series of policy documents to support the development of artificial intelligence,the Ministry of Education issued the Action Plan on Artificial Intelligence Innovation in Colleges and Universities in2018,which is proposed to promote the integration to artificial intelligence and education and carry out in-depth innovative application in the field of education.In the context of the“double top”construction,many universities in China are actively exploring the application of artificial intelligence in university libraries.However,few people have studied the readiness of artificial intelligence in libraries,and each university library has fallen into a dilemma of no reference,no organization.Therefore,based on the research status of artificial intelligence applications in libraries,this paper investigates and analyzes the artificial intelligence readiness of libraries in Henan ' s universities,and puts forward suggestions on improving the artificial intelligence readiness of university libraries,with a view to providing reference for the construction of university intelligent libraries.Based on the existing domestic and foreign literature,referring to the TAM technology acceptance model,the DOI innovation diffusion theory,and the TOE technology organization environment framework,a preliminary evaluation index system for the artificial intelligence readiness of the library was established in this paper.The final research model was established through expert review,and the weight of index was determined by the analytic hierarchy process.This survey selected ten universities in Henan(Zhengzhou University,Henan University,Henan Agricultural University,Henan University of Economics and Law,Henan University of Science and Technology,Henan Normal University,Zhengzhou University of Light Industry,North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power,Zhengzhou Sias University,Henan College of Transportation),and sent a questionnaires to their students,librarians and teachers through the professional questionnaire website“Questionnaire Star”.702 questionnaires were collected in this survey with 668 valid questionnaires.After the questionnaires was retrieved,the descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis,and artificial intelligence readiness analysis of each university library were performed in order.The survey results found that the artificial intelligence readiness in the libraries of the ten universities was not good enough,showing that the survey respondents had a low understanding degree ofartificial intelligence technology,the proportion of technical personnel in the libraries of universities and colleges was generally not high,and the data scale and completeness of facilities were uneven.Based on the survey results,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for improving the artificial intelligence readiness of university libraries.First,at the psychological level: increasing the propaganda of artificial intelligence,and strengthening the understanding of artificial intelligence among college teachers and students.Second,at the technical level: improving infrastructure construction,increasing the proportion of technical personnel,and continuing to promote the development of artificial intelligence facilities and systems toward a more complete direction.Third,at the organizational level: leaders of universities should pay more attention to the application of artificial intelligence in libraries,strengthen organizational management,and improve the comprehensive quality of librarians.Fourth,at the environmental level: the state should continue to improve relevant laws and regulations to create a good environment for the application of artificial intelligence in libraries.
