Analyses On Yang Hongying's Bestselling Publications

Yang Hongying,an authoress from Sichuan province in China,her first children's literature work has been published in 1982,and she has written for children almost 40 years up to now.Yang Hongying has become a bestselling authoress since 2000,her publications have been keeping selling well for almost 20 years.In Chinese original children's books publishing field,there are few of authors,who can sell so well and last such long time,and this phenomenon is very rare,no matter in the field of Chinese children's literature,or in the field of Chinese children's books publishing.Yang Hongying's bestsellers have created many miracles in the Chinese children's books publishing industry,thereby Yang Hongying and her publications have become a topic of intense: some experts of Chinese children's literature regarded Yang Hongying's publications as typical commercial products in the books' market,they were popular literatures;however other experts of Chinese children's books publishing spoke highly of Yang Hongying's publications,children like to read Yang Hongying's publications because those stories were so close to them,these books can promote children's reading and the development of children's publications;both sides have different points.In conclusion,as one in Chinese children's publications,Yang Hongying is a bestselling author with a certain representativeness,therefore,it is necessary to study and analyze Yang Hongying's bestsellers in-depth.This thesis attempts to dissect Yang Hongying's bestsellers from three aspects below,analyses are made based on the ranking list data of children's publications by the Beijing OpenBook co.,Ltd(the most authoritative books' publishing information provider),using the methods by adopting data analysis,literature research,case study and text analysis,integrating kinds of researching results from Chinese children's literary criticism and Chinese children's books publishing,and referring to some representative reports.Studies are made: firstly card clearly general situations of Yang Hongying's bestsellers,secondly divide all the Yang Hongying's bestsellers according to the stories' themes,and analyze them one by one;thirdly summarize the regularities of Yang Hongying's bestsellers in the background of the whole children's publications market.
