The contradiction between the dense population and the declining earth resources will lead to the extremely severe challenge of energy exhaustion. As a new type of energy that can be used indefinitely, solar energy has the advantages of being easy to collect, clean and harmless, and plays a pivotal role in the future energy use. However, traditional wired power transmission can not be applied to long-distance space solar power transmission,so we must use wireless power transmission to collect solar energy.Among them, the retrodirective array antenna is an important means of wireless power transmission.Under this practical background,it is of great significance to research on microwave wireless power transmission technology. In this paper, the research on the retrodirective array antenna is carried out for the inefficiency and security of microwave wireless power transmission. The retrodirective array antenna can automatically change the beam direction of the transmitting array antenna pattern through the phase conjugate circuit according to the pilot wave information received by the antenna without knowing the direction of the incident direction of the pilot wave to realize the real-time tracking of the target. With the advantages of low cost, automatic beam tracking and high gain,it has a great development prospect in the field of microwave wireless power transmission.Aiming at the design of dual-frequency retrodirective array antenna for wireless power transmission, this paper studies the key technologies of system transmission efficiency and beam pointing based on the basic theory of retrodirective array antenna. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, the basic concept of wireless power transmission is introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of the four conventional methods are analyzed from the aspects of working frequency and transmission distance.According to the phase conjugation principle of retrodirective array antennas, the realization forms of various retrodirective array antennas are studied and compared.Secondly,in view of the limitation of the beam scanning range of one-dimensional linear array, this paper puts forward the beam pointing error analysis of two-dimensional planar array, and gives a more comprehensive evaluation of the performance of the retrodirective array antenna. The correctness of the theory is illustrated by experimental simulation. Finally, based on the analysis of beam errors and related theories, starting from the antenna array and phase conjugate circuit,a dual-frequency directional backtracking array antenna for microwave wireless power transmission is designed and developed. The specific implementation scheme is given, and the simulation results of the whole board are analyzed...
