In order to meet the needs of teachers and students to obtain diversified digital resources through the campus network,campus informatization is facing the upgrading and transformation of the network to realize the transformation from digital campus to intelligent campus.Digital campus is to construct digital space and realize the digitalization from environmental information,resource information to application information.Based on big data,Internet of things and cloud computing technology,smart campus is based on digital campus,which can access campus information resources anytime and anywhere,and realize the functions of smart teaching environment,smart campus management,smart campus service and information security system.Through the case of introducing EPON network technology into the construction of intelligent campus basic network,this paper expounds that EPON network technology is suitable for the basic network of medium and large intelligent campus,and better meets the demand of intelligent campus for the basic network.Firstly,the paper compares EPON network with traditional LAN in smart campus,points out the problems existing in the application of traditional LAN in campus,briefly introduces the development of EPON,discusses the key points of EPON network technology,and introduces the system key technology and networking key technology of EPON.Finally,through the actual case of campus,from the system construction requirements,scheme design and project management practice This paper discusses in detail that EPON is an advanced broadband access technology suitable for campus access network.This paper focuses on the design and application of EPON optical fiber network system in smart campus.Through the detailed analysis of the administrative office area,teaching area,dormitory area,campus wireless network,security Internet of things and other multi-functional areas and business systems,a demand analysis report is formed,and then the network detailed planning and design and equipment selection are carried out;in the process of project management and implementation,advanced project management specifications are adopted,and progress management is emphasized on the premise of ensuring safety Management,quality management and cost control,realize the whole process control of project management;and summarize the technical key points in the implementation,including equipment installation,optical cable construction,machine room construction,system test and commissioning,to achieve the project design requirements and predetermined objectives.Through the application of EPON in campus network construction,this paper simplifies the complexity of campus network,reduces the difficulty of network operation and maintenance,greatly improves the network capacity,and solves the problems existing in traditional local area network.In the construction of EPON network in smart campus,the advantages of optical fiber network should be brought into full play,and the advantages of passive optical network should be fully reflected.The network construction meets the system requirements,and reserves space for improvement in the later development.
