All optical network coverage is the primary transmission solution for current telecom operators.With the continuous optical network coverage improvement and various services development,the customers' requirements for optical network technologies have been shown great different.In most regional coverage projects,single-mode optical network coverage cannot meet the needs of all users,which should be introduced hybrid networking as the main solution.This thesis presents a comprehensive research on smart campus oriented all optical network coverage scheme based on actual projects in CMCC Yunnan branch.Firstly,some major optical bearer network technologies are introduced briefly.Some main techniques are analyzed and compared including SDH/MSTP,PTN,OTN,and PON,etc.The various application scenarios are discussed.Based on the analysis and predict of current CMCC networks,this thesis proposes an integrated solution for different level customers including backbone network,access network,and VIP dedicated line,respectively.Finally,a detailed all optical network coverage scheme is provided for a Smart Campus project in Yunnan province which achieved good results.
