With the rapid development of the infrared imaging technology,regardless of in the military or civil it plays a important role,especially in the military,due to the light are almost limitless,it can use for all-weather observation.Countries are developing their own infrared guidance,reconnaissance,tracking,early warning technology,etc.However due to the larger rate of the refractive index of the infrared optical material temperature coefficient dn/dT.When the environment temperature changes,the rate of infrared optical glass refraction follows,so that the imaging quality of the system is easily affected by the environmental temperature.Therefore,athermal techniques is needed for the infrared system?This article embarks from the practical application requirements,based on the medium wave 640*512 IRFPA imaging system,compared with the various auto-athermalization image processing method of the infrared optical system,FPGA is the core processor to realize image processing and clarity evaluation,TMS320F28069 is MCU,to complete the search for the best imaging position using optimized hill-climbing algorithm,precise real-time automaticly athermal systems is schemed out.Finally,the design was tested and verified,the system can automatically eliminate the thermal,keep clear imaging,meet the requirements of the project.
