In recent years,with the introduction and deep practice of China's series of development strategies,China's national economic level and consumer demand have increased significantly,which has led to a broader consumer market for mass culture.At the same time,"Reading for All" has made the book once again attract the attention of the public,rekindling the reading interest of a large number of readers,the scale of cultural consumption has been expanding,and the physical bookstore has revived.Due to the development and progress of science and technology,the prosperity of all-media publishing and screen reading has had a certain impact on traditional paper media,and physical bookstores have been transformed to cope with the impact.This article takes this as the research background,and takes the CITIC Bookstore,the industry leader of the physical bookstore,as the research object.Through the research on the management status of CITIC Bookstore,it finds the problems encountered in its operation and proposes to help the CITIC Bookstore to further smoothly transform.The proposal has important reference significance for the overall development of CITIC Bookstore itself and other similar physical bookstores.This article gives a brief overview of the development of CITIC Bookstore and summarizes its business philosophy and objectives.Then use the SWOT analysis method to analyze the business environment of CITIC Bookstore in four aspects: strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,threats and challenges,and then based on the relevant information and first-hand information obtained by visiting the operators of CITIC Bookstore,Study and analyze the bookstore's business model,operating income and store layout.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey,this article also analyzes three aspects of the basic situation,book purchase behavior and brand awareness of the consumers of CITIC Bookstore.The article summarizes the initial exploration of the current transformation of CITIC Bookstore.At the end of the article,according to the problems mentioned previous,it provides guiding suggestions for the further transformation of CITIC Bookstore,and proposes new ideas and new methods to solve practical problems.The survival and development of brick-and-mortar bookstores in China provide transformation ideas worthy of reference.
