With the development of information society,the demand for high-speed and wide-bandwidth data services is developing rapidly.With the large-scale construction of 5G in the future,the existing SDH and PTN transmission systems can no longer meet the development needs.It is necessary to build an efficient,flexible and high-speed bearer network,so OTN transmission system will be constructed on a large scale.This paper mainly analyses and studies the construction of OTN optical transmission system of Inner Mongolia Mobile Corporation of China,starting with the basic working principle of OTN optical transmission system;deeply analyses the requirements of OTN system for optical fiber,computer room and power supply,station configuration and equipment selection in the process of OTN system construction;emphatically analyses and studies the construction of OTN system at three levels of metropolitan core,convergence and access of Inner Mongolia Corporation.Needs and schemes are demonstrated by the OTN system engineering design case of Hulunbeier Branch.Finally,the protection of OTN optical transmission system is studied.By analyzing the principles of network-level protection and light path protection,the two protection modes are compared,and the applicable scenarios of various protection modes are put forward.For the future 5G network bearer,OTN transmission system will become the mainstream bearer network.This paper provides learning reference for beginners of communication transmission network design,operation and maintenance personnel.
