Because allowing station to mobile flexibly, wireless sensor network developed rapidly in the occasion where it is unable to advance laid infrastructure or where fast automatic networking is required recently, such as emergency rescue.Since the significant influence of routing protocol on network layer to the QOS of the whole network, the academia and industry put a lot of routing protocols as the wireless sensor network broadening application scene, such as DV,DSDV,OLSR,DSR,AODV,TORA and ZRP,etc..However,these general protocols can not adequately meet the needs of rapid expansion in energy saving, energy consumption balance, communication load self balancing and interrupt repair efficiency. This paper focusing on the conservation of energy, the balance of the load, the improvement of communication efficiency and the compatible capacity to mobility, proposes a new type of self load-balancing and energy aware routing algorithm(SBAERA).This protocol through parameter design, included minimum hop, residual energy, energy loss rate and network node density factors into the route discovery, establishment, restoration stage.Besides,a more efficient local repair strategy is achieved.Through those,SBAERA is given with the balanced ability of communication load and energy consume,to further optimize the network energy consumption, and improve the quality of network services. Then the paper also compared the performance of the SBAERA protocol with the standard AODV and DSDV on the simulation platform NS-2 and based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard.Simulation results further verified that the proposed SBAERA is valid in balancing the energy consumption to prolong the network lifetime and balancing the network communication load. All in all,the compared result suggests that the SBAERA have the ability to support the Wireless Sensor Network providing better communication services.
