Wireless Mesh networks can provide users with a reliable and efficient broadband experience.It can be applied to smart homes and community networks.However,in these two application scenarios,how to design an appropriate routing strategy to select the best path for data transmission,so as to maximize the performance of the wireless mesh network,has become a research direction of the network.In recent years,considerable progress has been made in the research of network coding technology.It allows nodes to encode data areas of data packets,thereby improving network bandwidth utilization and network throughput,and providing new designs for an efficient routing strategy.Ideas.This article is to study how to use network coding technology to design routing strategies in wireless mesh networks.This paper first introduces the basic structure,advantages and application scenarios of wireless Mesh networks and the importance of network load balancing under this application scenario.Then it gives a brief overview of the principles of network coding technology,and analyzes the development of inter-stream network coding structures.At the same time,the principle of a typical wireless network routing strategy DSR is introduced.The main work of this article is as follows:In order to solve the problem of network load imbalance caused by coding perception,a load balancing routing strategy based on coding perception is designed.CLDSR uses a new expected number of transmissions to indicate the path loss rate and the size of the path coding gain.At the same time,a route evaluation function is established in combination with the path load index,and route selection is performed according to the evaluation function,thereby making the source node preferable to select a path with a low packet loss rate,a large coding gain,and a light load as the optimal path.Then,the designed CLDSR routing strategy and DSR,COPE,ILCAR routing strategy were simulated on the NS-2 simulation platform.In the simulation,different data packet generation rates are used to simulate different network loads,and throughput,delay,and coding packet percentage are selected as route evaluation indicators.Simulation results show that the CLDSR routing strategy can not only effectively increase the coding opportunity of the path,improve network throughput,but also reduce routing delay.
