With the development of digitization and mobile network,the new media age,which represented by micro-blog and we-chat,has emerged.New media differs significantly from traditional media in many ways,including the speed of propagation,information characteristic,scope of audience and so on.In the background of modernity,technology and rationality have come into every aspect of daily life,and as an extension of men,media has become a part of human senses,sometimes it even surpasses human itself.Tik Tok is a popular music video mobile software,which has more than one hundred million daily active users.As an entertainment application which slogan is “Record wonderful life”,Tik Tok is welcomed by many young people around the world,but at the same time,many users are addicted to it.This research takes Tik Tok as the research object,and under the framework of alienation theory to examine its social conditions,processes,popular mechanism and influence.There are some main characters of media alienation,including the popular of fast-food culture,the prevailing of internet celebrities.In the internet era,the network traffic is equal to money,the capital and technology have attracted and kept people in the present entertainment.Tik Tok caters to people's desire and brings psychological pleasure to the audience,while business provides power and space for it.These scenes reveal social mentality in transition period of the society,including anxiety and loneliness.
