Social mentality is not only a "barometer" that reflects the development and changes of the country and society,but also an important window to reflect the spiritual world of social members.It affects people's ideas,values and behavior tendencies.It is related to the overall situation of national political economic and social development.The rational,peaceful and positive social mentality is the psychological basis for promoting the development and progress of the party,the state and the society,while the negative and extreme social mentality will demoralize the people and divide the society.Therefore,it is necessary for us to study the social mentality of the people and cultivate a positive social mentality.The study of network social mentality can effectively grasp the dynamic and changing part of social mentality in time,so this paper is based on summarizing and drawing lessons from the existing achievements of social mentality research at home and abroad.take Sina Weibo as the data source,adopt big data and text mining technology,and use the relevant knowledge of psychology,sociology,statistics and other disciplines.By using the methods of literature,investigation,observation and other research methods,this paper studies the characteristics of the network social mentality based on the hot events of WeiboIn this study,a self-designed crawler program combined with Sina's official API was used to crawl a total of 84580 Weibo text data from Sina Weibo from January 1,2019 to December 31,2019.After data cleaning,the emotional semantics of the crawled Weibo text was analyzed with the help of the emotional semantic analysis interface of Tencent Wisdom Analysis platform,and the social mentality was studied from different dimensions.This study starts from the following partsThe first part interprets the relevant theories of social mentality and network social mentality,which mainly involves the definition of social mentality and network social mentality,the construction of the model of social mentality,and the description of the characteristics of social mentality with the help of the theoretical model in statistical mechanicsThe second part summarizes the relevant research on social mentality and network social mentality of some scholars at home and abroad.The third part,through the social hot events Weibo text data mining and emotional analysis,so as to have a preliminary grasp of the current Weibo users' network social mentality characteristics,and then find the problem.The study found that1.The situation of network social mentality is more complex in various dimensions.our people generally have a strong sense of identity and life satisfaction with our country.however,the positive degree is low in the dimensions of network social mentality,such as sense of social problems,sense of social justice,sense of government trust,sense of social pressure and so on2.In all dimensions of Weibo users' mentality towards the network society,there are significant differences in gender,age,identity information,region and other demographic variables.In terms of gender,gender factors do not equally affect the different dimensions of network social mentality.In the dimensions of social justice and social problems,there is no significant difference between men and women.In the dimensions of life satisfaction,social stress,social sense of security and government trust,the positive emotion value of female is significantly higher than that of maleIn terms of age,the age factor does not equally affect the different dimensions of the network social mentality.The positive emotion values of Weibo users of different ages have significant differences in life satisfaction,social sense of security,social justice,government trust and other dimensions,but there is no significant difference in social stress and social problemsIn terms of region,except for social sense of security,region has a significant impact on the corresponding positive emotional values.Overall,the positive emotion value of overseas users in all dimensions is lower than that of domestic users,and the positive emotion value of economically developed areas is lower than that of medium-sized areas and economically backward areasFrom the analysis of identity information(whether VIP users or not),the positive emotion value of VIP users is significantly higher than that of non-VIP users(anonymous users)in all dimensions of network social mentality.The fourth part puts forward the cultivation strategy of positive social mentality,and mainly puts forward a series of measures for people to cultivate positive social mentality from the personal level and the national level.Therefore,we should start from the following aspects(1)to establish correct values and develop a positive attitude towards life(2)to cultivate the spirit of patriotism.(3)be on guard against foreign cultural colonialism,strengthen cultural export,enhance national self-confidence,and occupy the highlands of public opinion(4)to build a special economic zone of thought."(5)to establish a social mentality security early warning system.
