Application Of Virtual Reality Technology In Logistics Teaching Of DH Vocational College

Logistics major is a discipline with both theory and practice.Although remarkable progress has been achieved in current teaching methods,there are still some problems,such as unitary teaching methods,insufficient student participation,lacking of full process awareness,weak practical ability and insufficient practical skills.Therefore,it is really urgent to explore new teaching methods to solve the above problems.Virtual reality technology has been successfully applied to various teachings and achieved good results since it was developed.So many scholars began to explore the application of this technology to logistics teaching.However,virtual reality technology is only a tool to assist teaching.If applying it to logistics teaching,it is necessary to decide whether to use,when to adopt,and which type of virtual reality system to choose according to the instructional design.Thus,we should establish a logistics instructional design model in virtual reality environment.Based on this,this paper establishes a logistics instructional design model in virtual reality environment and verifies it on the basis of extensive review of relevant literature and investigation,combining with the problems existed in current logistics teaching in DH vocational college and the actual needs of teachers and students.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Analyze and summarize the problems existed in the logistics teaching in DH vocational College,investigate the needs of teachers and students,and combine the current application status of virtual reality technology in teaching,then explore the feasibility of applying virtual reality technology in the logistics teaching in DH vocational college;(2)Adopting classical teaching theories as the base,considering the common elements of the instructional design model and the key factors affecting the choice of virtual reality technology,the logistics teaching design model in virtual reality environment is created;(3)Taking the course of warehouse management as an example,this paper uses the logistics teaching design model to complete the teaching design,teaching organization and teaching implementation of warehouse operation,and makes an investigation and analysis on the teaching effect so as to verify the availability and effectiveness of the designed model.At the same time,it summarizes the problems existed in the application of virtual reality technology in logistics teaching and gives suggestions for improvement.Through the above theoretical analysis,examination of course practice and survey of teaching effectiveness,the availability and effectiveness of the proposed model in this paper is confirmed.And it also proves that the application of virtual reality technology in logistics teaching can solve the problems included in logistics teaching.
