The higher vocational college network was constructed in 2001,which brought great convenience to the college in teaching,scientific research,daily management and was instrumental in the development of the combination.It also solved problems practical and effective that traditional methods can not solve.However,after years of development,the scales of college continue expansion and the numbers of students and teachers is increasing,so the demand of network bandwidth is increasing tremendous,besides with the equipment of network is long-running,which property decline gradually and cause high failure rate.Problems such as port breakdown and business interrupt appear regularly,which is a bad influence on teaching and official business.Fortunately,the leaders of college draw attention to it and input a lot of labor forces and financial forces in order to upgrade the present network,so that it can solve problems existing in the college network and satisfy demands in the next 5 years.Against the background of the actual construction of network transformation,the thesis looks into the way to buid a network platform which is excellent performance,reliable and security.Based on the analysis the network topology,equipment composition and business system of the old network,this thesis proposes the plan of campus network transformation considering the demands in college informatization construction,finally,put into practise.We would replace the original three tier network architecture with the big second tier network architecture.In the core Layer,we use Intelligent Resilient Framework instead of VRRP+MSTP,which can realize redundancy backup,simplified configuration and reduce a large number of protocol messages.The access layer uses 2 multimode fibre aggregation connect to the core layer,which can improve reliability and increase bandwidth.In data center,we use virtualization to consolidate servers,increasing utilization and economize the cost of electricity.Moreover,virtualization can realize mass-deployed and distributed resource scheduler,the speed of backup and operation convenience is better than the traditional way.In addition,we pay more attention to network security,we protect the network from aspects such as network,host,application,data and so on,thus enhance the overall security of network level.After the design scheme put into practice,the network now operates fluency andstability,the users respond well and previous problems have been solved.Through the optimization of the network,it performances more security,fluency,stability,and in the true sense to build quality network blending in teaching,scientific research,management,technical services and life services.Moreover,the design and implementation of this project has a certain reference value and important meaning of future construction of college network.
