Since the network technology application development to the present.The network security is a prominent problem that all network builders and managers must face and solve. The campus network as a large platform for teaching, scientific research and office, in the face of different user groups on campus, opens a variety of services to meet user needs. This determines the complexity of its application technology, comprehensive and vulnerability. Therefore, to ensure the safe operation of the campus network is a focus in the study of this article.In this paper, based on the current situation of Ningxia Normal University campus network, we first analysed the cause of the campus network security problems, all sorts of security issues current campus network faces, and studied the current mainstream network security technology. Through the use of two network security evaluation methods:expert based evaluation and SSE-CMM model based evaluation, we have conducted a comprehensive network security evaluation for Ningxia Normal University campus network. The results of the campus network security risk assessment to conduct exposed the weak link of network security. Combining the application characteristics of the campus network, and according to the topological structure of the network, we divided Ningxia Normal University campus network into five zones:network edge zone, the core zone, access layer security zone, server group safety zone and host safety zone. We conduct design requirements analysis for each zone and finally summarize the network security requirements, With dynamic security model "P2DR" as the theoretical guidance, the overall scheme of campus network security system of Ningxia Normal University is designed respectively from four aspects of policy, protection, detection and response, then specific implementation is conducted from four aspects of campus network exit security design, network core layer security policy deployment, server group security deployment and access layer security design, thus ensuring campus network security. Finally, the campus network security risk evaluation system is designed and implemented, and the security evaluation system is tested.
