Research On Campus Network Renovation In West Campus Area Of Tianjin Agricultural College

Compus network, which sprang up in 1980s, is playing a more and more important role in the construction and development of colleges and universities. However, with the improvement of information technology and the development of application requirement, campus network construction has, in fact, become a continuous upgrading renovation systems engineering. Taking the renovation of the campus network construction in Tianjin Agricultural College (west campus area) for example, in this thesis, the following tasks have been accomplished. They include: one, the defects of the old campus network have been analysed. Two, some relevant problems about the campus network construction have been discussed as to the following aspects, they are: campus network requirement analysis; campus network design objective;campus network topological structure renovation; equipment optimization of the present campus network; network administration,;information resources sharing and network security.This thesis deals with the renovation process of the campus network in Tianjin Agricultural College(west campus area) in detail. In the process, the following jobs have been done. They are: one, renovating the campus network topological structure. By comparing the different types of networks of different purposes, this subject studies the different construction and renovation of the interal subnets of the campus networks which have different purposes in different sections. Only in this way, can the campus nctwork resources be used more efficiently and safely. Two, studying the renovation and expansion of IP website. The purpose is to bind all the important workstations'MAC website and the assigned still IP website together, thus preventing IP website from being stolen and making sure that the computers in important sections can be used normally and safely. At the same time, solving the conflicts between the increasing demand of campus network users and nework classrooms and the limited resources. Three, constructing seamless library network in the electronic reading room of the library by using Router OS. In this way, the following problems have been solved efficiently. The problems include: users outside the campus network can not visit the internal digital resources of the library's network; the bottleneck the users of library LAN meet when visiting the internet; the exchange visits of the different internal network of the library.After inspecting the renovated campus network in west campus area, we can make sure that not only the speed of the network and the network security can be improved, the network resources can also be optimized to the greatest extent, thus the managers'burden can be relieved.
