Design And Implementation Of Digital Campus Platform Based On Integrated Virtualization Cluster Server

NY College is a full-time higher vocational technical college,officially approved by the Zhe Jiang Provincial People's government in 2002.It was moved to the new campus on July,2016.The project of digital campus is an IT basic project for the construction of NY College by China Telecom.It contents the campus network managed by the college and the dormitory network by Telecom.The campus network is the pioneer in the development of educational information in China.At present,the increasing scale of the campus network leads to the investment of resources to support campus network more and more complicated.The department of network technology is limited to the existing resources to provide more security and more stable quality of services.Actually the campus network should be simple.Simplify the management structure to reduce the resources investment;simplify the operation and maintenance work to perfect service response and fault handling timeliness;simplify the integration of resources to enhance the ability of Network Technology Department to integrate supplier's products.QM's minimalist-network-solutions can face all kinds of changes in the future.We will provide the impetus for the service transformation with the attitude "service first,users first".The integrated virtualization server cluster of NY College uses QM v Sphere as the management system,and integrates 8 physical servers and a storage server,then establishes a huge resource pool.It consists of 160 processor cores,whose total computing power is up to 367 GHz,as well as 254 GB memory resources and 23 TB storage.It serves as a business support platform for the digital campus of NY College,so that each of the information business can be loaded on a stand-alone virtual machine,so as to operate stably and reliably.
