In this paper,I designed a mobile watching TV broadcast system based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the current network set-top box and traditional digital TV set-top box,based on the Android system-based network set-top box as the development platform.The system combines the advantages of the network transmission function of the network set-top box and the stable transmission characteristic of the digital TV signal line,and realizes the high-definition playback of the TV program on the mobile device by the universality and convenience of the mobile device.After testing,the system overcomes the usual sense of network TV broadcast completely dependent on the bandwidth performance of the problem,and also to solve the drawbacks of watching traditional digital TV only by television,with a good commercial and public using value.The core idea of this design is to convert the stream transmitted through DVB-C into a stream suitable for network transmission,by analyzing the stream,reducing the bit rate,transcoding,packaging and other operations,and to live TV program on webcasts of the mobile device according to HLS protocol.The system consists of two parts: Linux embedded central control server,Android system based on network set-top box.The central control server is based on the Apache-based Linux embedded operating system,composed of the user live module used to achieve digital TV network broadcast function and the background management module used to implement real-time monitoring of the branch server health status.The branch server is based on the Apache-based Android operating system,network set-top box for the hardware platform.The function of the branch server is to re-encapsulate the digital television program data into the TS stream,audio data encoded in AAC and video data encoded in H.264 through analyzing the stream,reducing the bit rate,transcoding,packaging and other operations,and to cache the TS stream according to the HLS protocol.
