Design And Implementation Of Terrestrial Digital Television Performance Test System

With the promulgation of GB20600-2006 "Frame Structure,Channel Coding and Modulation for Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting system" and GY/T 257.1-2012"Advanced coding of video and audio for broadcasting-Part 1:video" and GY/T271-2013"Technical requirements and measurement methods of AVS+HDTV encoder",State Administration of Press Publication,Radio,Film and Television(present State Adminstration of Radio and Television)and Financial Management Department jointly issued"Announcement on the Implementation of Wireless Digitalization of Central Radio and TV Programs".The implementation of this project further promoted the the procedure of Digital Television A/D in China.With being fully under way of Central radio and television program wireless digital coverage project in GuangXi,the requirement for Portable Terrestrial Digital Television Test Equipment to feed the Digital TV Engineers' actual needs is gradually increasing.Therefore,a Program of Terrestrial Digital Television Performance Test System based on Android has been presented in this thesis to offer the foundation and technique supports for the promotion and application of Terrestrial Digital Broadcast Television.Key points of this thesis are these as below:1.Present a convenient,inexpensive and practical Terrestrial Digital Television Performance Test System according to research and analysis on indication/data and testing requirements of Terrestrial Digital Television with national standard,comparing to existed errestrial Digital Television Tester in the market and analysis on the present development of Digital Television Test System here and abroad.2.Design the hardware scheme of Terrestrial Digital Television Test System basing on the actual needs.Hardware scheme design mainly includes to develop the Terrestrial Digital Television Channel demodulation chip and Receiver and Demodulator Module on Peripheral Circuit based on ARM CPU,the TS-over-TP integrated circuit base on FPGA chip,and the WIFI module.Embedded Systems Software scheme design mainly includes to develop the Tuner chip Drive,Demodulation chip driver,Custom Serial Data Transfer Protocol,Definition Network port data encapsulation format based on ARM platform,Multipath data processing based on FPGA and TS Multiplexing.3.APP developing based on Android system.This mainly includes Android Development environment building,Android System video soft decoding,and display of Terrestrial Digital Television index parameter.After testing and verifying,Terrestrial Digital Television Test Terminal reach the effect expected both in function and stability.
