On 7th Jan.2009 Beijing time, Mâ…¡(the Ministry of Information Industry) officially issued 3G license for China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. It is herald a new digital network era coming, that is the network of MM (Mobile Media) & CATV, Internet and Telecom will converge to one network at the end. The 3G network brings a shot in the arm to our modern life, such as the new technology improvement of music downloading, TV show, real-time navigation, game on line, internet shopping, digital purse, etc. The mobile phone will not only play the single role of traditional communication, but also involved into newspaper, broadcast, television, movie, internet industry, and it took shape a new model of media community, this type of community is a middle course of the advantage and disadvantage of media, and it created a new media value.When mobile media comes to our daily life with a new culture type, and becomes as our living style transition, or even our cultural phenomena, a new social stratification has been introduced base on the culture background of post-modern. With this new social stratification, the influence of culture increasingly salient increased, besides the standard of traditional fortune, rights and reputation. Different social groups keep their footing in society with their own produced cultural awareness. Mobile media culture played a certain role during this cultural awareness production. This paper tries to reflect and discuss the contributions of mobile media, from changing the habit of receive the information, becoming as a new class interesting, building a new view of space and association and social segmentation, etc.
