In the embedded image video processing system,the design of the data communication system limits the operating efficiency of the entire system.The image and video data acquisition system is the data source for all subsequent system modules.This not only directly affects the real-time performance of the image processing system in which it is located,but also imposes constraints on the format and frame type of the target image and video data.At the same time,the image quality collected by the front-end module determines the accuracy and stability of the subsequent image processing system design.Therefore,it is important to implement a more rapid,accurate,and stable image data acquisition system for a specific platform in an embedded system.Based on JPEG2000 codec system and Zynq-7000 SOPC platform,this thesis completes the design of USB image data acquisition system under bare metal and embedded Linux operating system development environment.The main contents of the thesis include the following aspects:(1)Based on USB bus interface structure about the Zynq-7000 platform,the software system hierarchy of the USB EHCI host protocol stack in the bare-metal environment is completed.(2)Some standard protocols such as USB2.0 standard and EHCI host specification are studied,then,the driver design of HCD level of EHCI host protocol stack is completed on Xilinx SDK development platform.(3)The USB video standard equipment specification UVC1.1 is studied,and the system software design of the host protocol stack USBD level and interface level is implemented.(4)The transplantation of Linux operating system on Zynq-7000 platform and the Linux system image acquisition application design is implemented,based on the V4L2 driver framework and related application program interface.(5)The design and implementation of preprocessing optimization after image data acquisition is completed.The cumbersome calculation method originally used is abandoned and the optimization design based on the look-up table is proposed.This further enhances the operating efficiency of the image processing system.After the software program design is implemented under both bare-metal and Linux,system functional is tested based on the Xilinx Zc702 development board.The result is indicated that the EHCI host protocol stack in bare metal environment can initially implement UVC device identification and control;V4L2 based application program can implement normal video data acquisition under Linux system;Image preprocessing optimization based on look-up table can significantly reduce the time required for color space conversion.
