| The British "Financial Times" entered the Chinese market in 2003 and opened a Chinese website-Chinese FT.com.Chinese FT.com has been rooted in China for more than ten years,and has continuously gained considerable development and progress.It has become one of the few financial websites that can survive successfully and have a certain influence in the world.In recent years,Chinese FT.com has formed a unique report framework in the economic news column through a new revision in the new media environment,so it has important research significance and value.This study selects the economic news report from June 2016 to December 2017 as a research sample after the new revision of Chinese FT.com.The content analysis method,case analysis method and in-depth interview method are the main research methods.The study uses framework theory as the main research perspective,constructing corresponding categories from the formal level and the substantive level,respectively,from the source of the report,the topic of the report,the coverage of the report,the position of the report,the genre of the report,etc,which analyzed the text content and Chinese FT.com is discussed as “how to conduct economic news reports”.The study found that the economic news report of Chinese FT.com formed a unique reporting framework,showing the characteristics of a variety of reporting frameworks.It mainly includes: the length of the report is long,the content of the report is detailed;the genre of the report is diverse,and the unique style is created;the chart is used aptly,the visual effect is good;the source of the report is authoritative,the official voice is conveyed;the report topic is diverse,closely related to the economic hotspot;the perspective of the report is open,showing a sense of the overall situation;reporting neutrality and adhering to objective principles.On this basis,this study combines the in-depth interview with Wang Feng,the chief editor of Chinese FT.com,to analyze the factors affecting the formation of the reporting framework to answer the question “Why is this reported?”The studyanalyzed the economic news production of Chinese FT.com,which was influenced by both internal and external factors,including political and economic background,media competition,audience demand preferences and news editorial departments to follow the requirements of journalism professionalism.In the face of the serious homogenization of China's economic news and the lack of influence,the study believes that Chinese financial media must focus on the local economy and open up the international vision in the perspective of economic news reporting;Pay attention to the diversification of economic news topics and highlight humanistic care;Pay attention to the richness and diversity of reporting styles,shaping unique styles;Focus on the originality of the content of the report and build a professional team and other measures to build an optimal reporting framework and improve the credibility and influence of economic news reports. |
