With the emergence of 3D rapid prototyping printer technology,it completely overturns the traditional product manufacturing process and forms one of the most creative technologies in the industry.Because it will be the original X,Y axis plane printing technology,and added the new longitudinal movement in the Z-axis direction,the longitudinal cross-sections are stacked to form a three-dimensional model.Its biggest advantage is that the equipment is simple,the cycle of manufacturing samples is short,the materials used are cheap,and the waste is small,the industrial pollution is less,more environmentally friendly,and a lot of manpower and material resources are not required for printing.So this technology has been widely used all around the world in every fields.Therefore,this paper focuses on the research of 3D printer based on Arduino platform to complete the design and implementation of lower cost 3D printer.Firstly,the essay carry out the demand analysis and feasibility analysis of the 3D printing system and the performance requirements of the design are proposed.Then select and demonstrate the system scheme,including the selection and demonstration of the master chip scheme,and the stepping motor driver module,scheme of the display module,finally establish the design steps for the 3D printing control system.Secondly,the hardware circuit design and implementation of the whole system are completed,including the analysis of the overall hardware structure,the design and implementation of the microprocessor main control module,drive transfer expansion module,the display circuit and the storage circuit,the selection of stepper motors and the design and implementation of the drive modules,as well as complete respective PCB layout design work.Thirdly,The complete system overall program flow design and implementation was carried out,and the display circuit program design and implementation,motor drive program design and implementation were introduced,including the control of PWM pulse wave,the acceleration and deceleration control,temperature measurement of stepper motor and the design and implementation of the program flow for collecting and heating it.Then whole 3D printer system was build,test the designed 3D printing control system,including the test of system othe hardware and software,and then comprehensively debug the system to print out the 3D model physical object,and its performance requirements.Analysis demand,it can meet the needs of users and basically achieve the expected goals,and the design of the project was completed.Finally,summarize the design and implementation of the whole 3D printing system.And according to the 3D printing control system of this design,some areas that can be further improved,which can be used as further research directions in the future.
