Along with the development of television technology,smart television has increasingly entered into people's lives.A variety of applications emerging endlessly in the smart television has greatly enriched the functions of smart television,so that users have more channels to acquire information and contact abundant internet contents.Meanwhile,it also causes users of smart television to spend more time in look ing for their favorite content.Thanks to message push technology,the content providers can positively push the information that users may concern to the television terminal so as to reduce the difficulty that a user acquires information.This article firstly analyzed the current situation of message push technology,pointing out the problem of large expenses in terms of network resources and server resources existing in the present message push technology based on TCP long connection,proposing a high-performance message push technology based on UDP protocol,and designing an elastic message push platform system framework coupled with the characteristics of smart television.It then designed a simplified application layer message push protocol following the REST principle to realize client-side authentication mechanism,heartbeat mechanism as well as message authentication mechanism,which lowered the data traffic while satisfying elasticity and reliability.When processing the client-side request,it achieved an event-driven network IO processing algorithm and designed a high-performance thread pool based on a half-sync hronous and half-asynchronous mode to meet performance requirements of client request processing under high concurrency environment.In the connection management module,a three-level buffer model of life cycle,index and data connecting the client-side connection information was designed,to realize efficient off-line client cleaning function based on the publish-subscribe model,point-to-point addressing function based on high-speed buffer and conditional combination addressing function based on high-speed buffer set operation.At last,it tested and analyzed such parameters as the number of online users,CPU utilization and memory usage,calculated online users supported by a single server and the whole production environment,and compared its performance with that of message push platform ba sed on HTTP long connection,with the test da ta showing that the pe rformance was improved for 7 to 10 times.As an important basis system for the operation platform of smart television,the message push platform has provided public message push service with high performance,which has greatly reduced the operation costs of a server,and made point-to-point push and some conditional group-push function according to platform or region come true.Meanwhile,the elastic dilatation has been conducted in accordance with the client-side scale.The message agency module provided by the platform is conducive for the connection of external systems,which satisfies the information pus h demand of various business systems.At present,it has been applied to the practical production environment.
