Since its Birth, with its open source strategy, Android has won a wide range of support and the first place of mobile intelligent operating system market. Thanks to the open strategy of Android, mobile intelligent terminals rapidly become popular, and the Age of Mobile Internet is coming.The explosive growth of the mobile Internet, has changed people’s life style, and realized the goal that we can get information anytime and anywhere. However, people are no longer satisfied with this. Instead, we hope the information which we need to be pushed to our terminal automatically. Although the technology of push message was born in the age of Internet, it became an important role in the age of Mobile Internet.However, as the Android official push notification mechanism, C2DM(Cloud to Device Messaging) has a very big defect--its low coverage. The developers of Android apps have to develop their own push message capability. And this is the goal of this subject, to help the developers to develop applications with the capability of push message easily and quickly. The thesis focuses on the research and implementation of push message capacity. According to the results of research, I extracted the push message capacity solutions and integrated these solutions into a framework which the developers can use easily.The thesis has seven chapters to describe the research and implementation of push message capacity based on the android platform.Chapter I introduces the background of the research from the aspect of push message and Android, and then puts forward the demand for research projects. Chapter II analyzes the push message mechanisms of the main mobile smartphone operating systems, and discusses the defects of the C2DM mechanism.Chapter III describes the overall design of the framework, including the selection of solutions and the design pattern of the framework.Chapter IV describes the detailed design of the framework, including the design of the various modules, as well as the design and implementation of the key features.Chapter V describes the tests of the framework, including functional test and performance test, and the test conclusion is given.Chapter VI is the help document of the framework.Chapter VII summarizes the contents of the thesis, and puts forward the further expand directions.
