Discourse Analysis Of False News Based On Text,Context,Practice

In recent years,academic research on false news has become increasingly hot.Journalism Review began to select annual false news in 2001,for more than ten years,the academic journals' s selection work has never stopped.On the one hand,it reflects the importance that the press attached to the study of false news,on the other hand,it reflects the objective reality that false news is difficult to eradicate.Nowadays,false news is not only a problem of news practice,but also a very important academic topic.In the new media era,how to defend the truth of news needs to be gave more ways from both practical and theoretical aspects.This study combined Teun A.van Dijk's discourse analysis theory of text and context and Norman Fairclough's three-dimensional model.It combined the text,context,discourse practice and social practice into the discourse analysis of false news.This study used content analysis,focus group discussion,in-depth interviews and discourse analysis to examine the false news.This academic research of false news provides a new research direction,which has possible theoretical and innovative significance.The research found that the titles of false news mainly cover five kinds.The basic elements of false news are absent,the source of information is untrue,the texts are perceptual and the texts are good at commenting.In the context,false news mainly covers eight kinds of themes and the style and position of false news also show its unique contextual characteristics.Starting from the two dimensions of "social cognition" and "social psychology",this study put forward the characteristics of discourse practice reflected by false news.Starting from the three dimensions of technology,news disseminators and audiences,this study explored the motivation of media technology,news disseminators and the audiences' ideological and psychological mechanisms,held that technology,news disseminators and audiences are the social practical forces behind the production of false news discourse.Finally,from the perspective of discourse analysis,this study proposed that we should mainly prevent and control false news from 3 aspects.
